This workshop is taught by an internationally licensed Ninjutsu instructor, Alex Schenker, where we will introduce the mindset of escaping an aggressor, rather than engaging.
The physical skills you will learn include how to escape various restrains, such as wrist grabs, body grabs; simple and safe ways to strike, kick (low), and gouge; a few key targets to go for; and again, the mindset of using these tools to disengage and escape.
We will approach how to safely move to a more advantageous position in situations where you are on the ground, so you can break contact and escape.
This workshop is for learning how to protect yourself by disengaging and escaping. The only effective system to learn how to fight, or reliably protect others, is years of dedicated training, with a qualified and capable instructor who understands the difference between combat sports, combat arts, and combat survival.
All physical levels are encouraged to come and experience this unique and valuable workshop.
