My yoga journey started as a fleeting idea that snowballed into a whole new way of life for me. Practicing yoga gave me guidance, but more than that, it made me happy. My goal now is to share that happiness with others. I have completed numerous teacher trainings, starting with a 500 hour Moksha certification and continuing on to study Vinyasa yoga as well as kids yoga and pre and post natal yoga. I also completed the Yoga Tune Up certification and this experience is evident in my classes as I blend lightness with yogic wisdom and alignment and anatomy. I am constantly learning from my students and am always open to working out modifications as well i use a great deal of hands on assists. I strongly believe yoga is great for everyone in all stages of life. Becoming a mother guided me to pay attention to the way yoga can help a women's body during pregnancy and beyond and my son has helped me understand that yoga is about returning to a natural state of innocence. Yoga can be summed up in how we describe breath to kids; 'breathe in the big you, breathe out the little you,' breathe in everything you want to be and breathe out everything you don't want.
