Amanda (Amy) Hardwick
Registered Massage Therapist, FRCms
After graduating from St Francis Xavier University with a degree in human kinetics, Amy spent time working as a physiotherapist assistant. In this role she realized her passion for working with others and helping them become more knowledgeable about their own bodies. She attended the accelerated Massage Therapy program at Georgian College and graduated with honours this Spring. In the spirit of always improving, Amy is constantly educating herself with the latest evidence-based research to enhance her skills
At Georgian College she was able to gain experience in many areas of massage, including sports, pregnancy, infant massage, complex care, long-term care, palliative care, fibromyalgia and inflammatory arthritides. Amy utilizes a combination of assessment, evidence-based research, remedial exercise, self care and indicated massage techniques to create individualized treatment plans focusing on the client's goals. A lifelong athlete, Amy enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, snowboarding and being outdoors with her dogs, Arnold and Zack.
